Abstract

ABSTRAK KLAUDIA MAYA GINTING, NPM 1815020001 “Improving student learning outcomes using Wall Chart media in writing narrative text in 10th grade Catholic 2 Senior High School Kabanjahe 2021/2022 School Year” This type of research is classroom action research (CAR). The purpose of this research is to find out the implementation of learning and improvement of student learning outcomes by using Wall Chart media in writing narrative text in the 10th grade of Catholic Senior High School 2 Kabanjahe in the 2021/2022 academic year. The subjects of this study were 10th grade students of Catholic high school 2 Kabanjahe and the object of this study was improvement of learning by using Wall Chart media in writing narrative text in 10th grade Catholic Senior High School 2 Kabanjahe in the academic year 2021/2022. Based on the research that has been carried out, it is found that the implementation of learning activities for teachers has 72.22% good criteria and the results of the implementation of learning activities for students have 70 good criteria. Classical completeness was obtained from 24 students who completed 22 (91.6%) and 2 students who did not complete (8.3%), so that the learning outcomes were classically complete. And the average value of students is 78.75%. Thus, the implementation of learning has good criteria and improves learning outcomes using Media Wall Charts in writing narrative texts in the 10th grade of Catholic Senior High School 2 Kabanjahe in the 2021/2022 academic year.
