Abstract

ABSTRAK DESY OKTARIANI BR SEMBIRING. NPM: 1815010012. “MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA MENGGUNAKAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN COOPERATIVE LEARNING TIPE NUMBER HEAD TOGETHER PADA PEMBELAJARAN IPA KELAS IV TEMA 2 SUBTEMA 2 SD NEGERI 043951 SURBAKTI TAHUN AJARAN 2021/2022.” Sarjana Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar, Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan. Universitas Quality Berastagi. Peserta didik mengalami kesulitan mempelajari materi IPA khususnya manfaat energi, selain itu peserta didik bosan dengan metode yang diajarkan oleh guru dalam menerangkan pelajaran IPA yang dilakukan secara klasikal dengan metode ceramah dan mengakibatkan banyak siswa yang malas mendengarkan serta banyak siswa yang mengantuk pada saat proses pembelajaran sedang berlangsung akibatnya ketercapaian tujuan pembelajaran tidak optimal. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (classroom action research) yang dilakukan secara kolaboratif dengan guru kelas. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ditandai dengan adanya tahap-tahap penelitian berupa siklus yang dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam pelajaran IPA pada materi Manfaat Energi dengan menggunakan model cooperativetipe Number Head Together (NHT).Dari hasil observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa, hasil observasi guru pada siklus II diperoleh 72,5 dan hasil observasi aktivitas siswa diperoleh 84 yang merupakan tergolong dalam kategori baik dan dari rata-rata pada siklus I diperoleh- 69,25 menjadi 76,29. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran setelah menggunakan model Cooperative learning tipe Number Head Together berkategori baik. Ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa setelah menggunakan model Cooperative learning tipe Number Head Together pada mata pelajaran IPA Tema 2 Sub Tema 2 Pokok Bahasan Manfaat Energi di Kelas IV SD Negeri 043951 Surbakti Tahun Ajaran 2021/2022 sudah tuntas baik secara individu maupun klasikal. Hasil belajar siswa sudah meningkat setelah menggunakan model Cooperative learning tipe Number Head Together pada mata pelajaran IPA Tema 2 Sub Tema 2 Pokok Bahasan Manfaat Energi di Kelas IV SD Negeri 043951 Surbakti Tahun Ajaran 2021/2022. Students have difficulty learning science material in particular energy benefits, besides that students are bored with the methods taught by teacher in explaining science lessons which are carried out classically with lecture method and resulted in many students being lazy to listen as well as many students who are sleepy while the learning process is in progress As a result, the achievement of learning objectives is not optimal. Type The research used is Classroom Action Research research) which was conducted collaboratively with the classroom teacher. Study Classroom action is characterized by the existence of stages of research in the form of cycles that carried out with the aim of improving student learning outcomes in lessons Science on Energy Benefits by using the cooperative-type model Number Head Together (NHT). From the results of observations of teacher and student activities, the resultsteacher observations in cycle II obtained 72.5 and the results of observations of student activities obtained 84 which are classified in the good category and from the average in the first cycle obtained - 69.25 to 76.29. Completeness of student learning outcomes after using the model Cooperative learning with the type of Number Head Together in the Natural Science subject.
