COMPARISON OF POTATO (Solanum tuberosum L.) VEGETATIVE GROWTH WITH TOMATO EXTRACT AND COCONUT WATER IN MORASHIGE AND SKOOG MEDIA

Abstrak
The purpose of this study was to determine the Comparison of Potato Vegetative Growth (Solanum tuberosum L.) With the Administration of Tomato Extract and Coconut Water With a Tissue Culture System on Morashige and Skoog Media. This research was carried out from September 2024 to February 2025 at the Laboratory of the Kutagadung Berastagi Horticulture Main Agency. This research was carried out from 1) Preparation of Materials and Tools, 2) Morashige and skoog solution, 3) Making each treatment media 4) Making each planting media. 5) Planting Potato Explants into Planting Medium 6) Explants inoculated with culture media, 7) Periodic observations during the incubation period. The results showed that the concentration of tomato extract 10 ml of tissue culture system on Morashige and Skoog media, can affect the height, number of leaves, number of roots, on the vegetative growth of potatoes (Solanum tuberosum L.). Coconut water concentration of 15 ml tissue culture system on Morashige and Skoog media, can affect the height, number of leaves, number of roots, on the vegetative growth of potatoes (Solanum tuberosum L.). The concentration of a mixture of tomato extract and coconut water of 18 ml tissue culture system on Morashige and Skoog media, can affect the height, number of leaves, number of roots, on the vegetative growth of potatoes (Solanum tuberosum L.).
