STRATEGI PENGEMBANGAN TANAMAN KENTANG (Solanum tuberosum L.) DI DESA AJIBUHARA KECAMATAN TIGA PANAH KABUPATEN KARO

Abstrak

Karo Regency, as one of the districts in North Sumatra province, is one of the potato production centers. Karo Regency is very well known as an area where the main livelihood of its people is farming. This is also supported by the land area and soil conditions of this highland area which are known to be good enough for planting plants, especially horticultural plants. This research was conducted to analyze the problems faced down to the production level so that it is known how and what strategies are used and will be developed to increase the production of potato plants in Ajibuhara Village, Tiga Panah District, Karo Regency with the method chosen being the purposive method, drawing The sample was carried out using the census method. The data used is primary data. It was explained at the beginning that this research aims to implement potato plant development strategies. The research was carried out in December 2023 – March 2024. Samples were taken using (Simple Random Sampling) by taking a sample of 30 potato farmers as respondents. The research data uses primary data obtained from interviews, questionnaires and documentation with sample farmers in Ajibuhara Village, Tiga Panah District, Karo Regency. Data analysis uses income farming feasibility analysis, production BEP, price BEP and R/C ratio analysis. The research results will be published in an accredited national journal.
