Abstrak




This study aims to determine whether compensation and work discipline partially or simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance at PT. PLN (Persero) Region Berastagi. This research is an associative and quantitative research. The sample of this study amounted to 50 people. The research instrument uses observation, questionnaires or questionnaires and documentation studies, while data analysis is carried out using multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that: 1) The results of the t-test on the compensation variable were 3.038, with a significance value of 0.004, which means that the compensation variable has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. 2) The results of the t-test on the work discipline variable are 4.191, with a significance value of 0.000 which means that work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. 3) Test the coefficient of determination (R2) based on the R Square value for the X1, X2 variable is 0.428 meaning 42.8% which means that the compensation and work discipline variables together affect employee performance by 42.8%, the remaining 57.2% is influenced by other factors.
