KOMUNIKASI INTERPERSONAL DALAM DIMENSI SELF DISCLOSURE PADA SANTRI DI PONDOK PESANTREN MINI AL FALAH

Abstrak

The research entitled "Interpersonal Communication in the Dimension of Self Disclosure in Santri at Mini Al Falah Islamic Boarding School" The purpose of this study was to find out how well the interpersonal communication of the students was discussed in the self-disclosure dimension. The method used in this research is in the form of a qualitative descriptive method because the research is carried out directly to the field. Data collection techniques by conducting in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. This research uses three theories, namely the theory of Devito, Leung, Altaman and Taylor. The results of this study explain that the good or bad quality of friendship among students depends on negative or positive interpersonal communication and self-disclosure. When the interpersonal communication threads carried out between students in daily life are weak or lacking, the results make them easy to experience misunderstandings which result in disconnection among the students. However, when interpersonal communication is in accordance with applicable norms, the quality of friendship between students is also good.
