PERAN DINAS KETENAGAKERJAAN, KOPERASI DAN USAHA KECIL DAN MENENGAH DALAM PENGEMBANGAN USAHA KECIL MENENGAH DI KABUPATEN KARO

Abstrak

This research was conducted at the Office of Manpower, Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises in Karo Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of the Department of Manpower, Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises in Karo Regency in the Development of Small and Medium Enterprises in Karo Regency. This type of research is qualitative research. With a population of 10,440, and a sample of the total population of 99 business actors. The data collection used is data obtained from interviews with employees of the Department of Manpower, Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises in Karo Regency in the SME and Community as Business Actors, as well as Observation and Documentation. The results of this study indicate that the development of SMEs in Karo Regency is good. This can be seen from the number of business actors from year to year, business actors also feel that the business they run is growing, pride also facilitates business actors, the business protection provided has been able to guarantee for business actors so that the development of SMEs will be further increased, and access to financing provided to business actors is good but not optimal enough in the effort to develop SMEs.
