POP-UP BOOK MEDIA DEVELOPMENT IN INDONESIAN LANGUAGE LEARNING FOR GRADE IV STUDENTS AT SDN 040461 BERASTAGI

Abstrak

The purpose of this study is to develop pop-up book media in Indonesian language learning using a development model. The hope of having pop-up book media can attract the interest of SDN 040461 Berastagi students in reading because there are many illustrations that are easy and fun for children. The development of this interactive media aims to produce media that can improve reading skills for SDN 040461 Berastagi students. This development method uses Research and Development (R&D). The model used is ADDIE (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation). The population of the study was 28 fourth grade students of SDN 040461 Berastagi, then the sample was tested as many as 28 students. The research data collection technique was through interviews, observations, and questionnaires. The results of the study were validation carried out by the validators, so the percentage results were that the material experts got a percentage of 97.5% with valid criteria. Media experts got a percentage of 96,6% with valid criteria. Learning practitioner experts got a percentage of 97,5% with valid criteria. Meanwhile, the assessment of student responses got a percentage with an average of valid and was said to be positive. Pop-up book media attracts students' attention so that when learning takes place, students are more enthusiastic and excited.
