THE EFFECT OF USING SPINNING WHEEL MEDIA ON THE MATHEMATICS LEARNING OUTCOMES OF STATE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS IN 047160 BERASTAGI

Abstrak
This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of using spinning wheel media on the mathematics learning outcomes of students at State Elementary School 047160 Berastagi. The type of research used is a quasi-experiment. This research was conducted at State Elementary School 047160 Berastagi. The population of this study was all students of State Elementary School 047160 Berastagi in the 2024/2025 academic year. The research sample was carried out using a random sampling technique, namely by drawing lots to obtain experimental and control classes. The research sample used students in classes VA and VB. Data collection used tests at the pretest and posttest. Descriptive and inferential statistical methods used to analyze data using SPSS. Descriptive statistics are used to see the average and standard deviation. Inferential is used for normality, homogeneity and t-test analysis. The results showed that there was a significant effect of using spinning wheel media on the mathematics learning outcomes of students at State Elementary School 047160 Berastagi. This is proven by the results of the t-test, which obtained a calculated t value of 1.685, which is greater than the t table of 1.674 (2.258 > 2.006) and a significant value of 0.040, which is less than 0.05 (0.040 < 0.05) at a significance level of 5%.
