Abstrak

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of independent learning on the mathematics learning outcomes of students V at SD Negeri 020261 Binjai. The research population is all students of class V who are used as samples or research objects as many as 32 students. In this study, researchers used a quantitative survey method. The method used in this study was a quantitative method to test hypotheses using a hypothesis technique. The hypothesis technique used was a hypothesis t test. The results of this study indicate that student learning independence at SD Negeri 020261 Binjai has an average of 50 percent in the low category and learning outcomes have an average of 65.63 percent in the low category. This is supported by the results of testing the hypothesis t-test where t-count > t-table, namely 2.031 > 1.681 so it can be concluded that the influence of independent learning is significant between independent learning and learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SD Negeri 020261 Binjai.
