PENGARUH DAYA LEDAK OTOT TUNGKAI, KOORDINASI MATA TANGAN DAN PERCAYA DIRI TERHADAP KETRAMPILAN LAY UP SHOOT PADA ATLET DUST BASKETBALL PULOMAS JAKARTA TIMUR

Abstrak

This study aims to determine the effect of limb muscle power, hand-eye coordination, and self-confidence toward the lay-up shoot skills of the basketball athletes. The sample was 30 athletes of the Dust Basketball Pulomas, East Jakarta. The research method used in this research is a quantitative approach to sociology, survey method with test and measurement techniques, and the analysis techniques using path analysis at the significance level of .05. In general, the results of research based on the results of the path analysis test of each hypothesis obtained a p-value <.05 which means that every research hypothesis (H₁) is accepted. In other words, the conclusions of each of the findings of the study indicate (1) there is a positive direct influence between each independent variable {Limb Muscle Power (X₁), Hand-eye coordination (X₂), and Self-confidence (X₃)}, and (2) there is a positive direct influence of each independent variable {Limb Muscle Power (X₁), Hand-eye coordination (X₂), and Self-confidence (X₃) gives a positive direct effect toward Basketball Lay-up Shoot Skills (Y)}. Thus, the skill of Basketball lay-up shoot can be enhanced through increased limb muscle power, hand-eye coordination, and self-confidence.
