Abstract

This study used the R&D method with the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The sample in this study consisted of 26 students. The feasibility test data was obtained from questionnaires, the practicality test was obtained from student response sheets, and the effectiveness test was obtained from pre-test and post-test sheets. The results of the study revealed that the media validation was 97% and the material validation was 96.66%, both categorized as highly feasible. The limited product trial results for the smart snake and ladder media (UTAPI) were 99.28%, and the product trial for fourth-grade students (Class IV-B) (Wide Trial) yielded a questionnaire score of 99.46%. From the limited and extensive trials of the UTAPI learning media, it can be categorized as very practical. Meanwhile, for the effectiveness test using the N-Gain test obtained from the pre-test and post-test results of fourth-grade students in class IV-A (Limited Trial). Based on the percentage obtained, the increase in learning outcomes by applying the smart snake and ladder learning media is classified as moderate and sufficiently effective in improving student learning outcomes. After conducting an evaluation during the implementation of the media in class IV-B (Wide-Scale Trial), a percentage of 85% was obtained, classified as high. It can be concluded that the smart snake ladder learning media (UTAPI) in teaching IPAS Substance Form and Changes for fourth-grade students in class IV-B at SDN 040481 Cinta Rakyat T.A 2024/2025 is very effective to use after conducting an evaluation in a limited trial in class IV-A.
