Abstract
Education for human life is an effort that must be done to develop the potential that is in him. Learning activities in formal educational institutions in this case are schools. School is the most basic activity in the whole educational process and cannot be separated from the teacher's role as teaching staff, so teachers are required to have good skills in controlling their students, both in learning and managing classes. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the influence between teacher skills in managing the classroom and the learning outcomes of fifth graders at SD Negeri 040454 Peceren in the 2020/2021 school year. This research uses descriptive research with qualitative methods. The population in this study were all fifth grade students of SD Negeri 040454 as many as 41 people and the sampling technique used a total sample so that the sample in the study amounted to 41 people.
The data collection technique used to describe the teacher's skills in managing the classroom is using a questionnaire or questionnaire. As for the learning outcomes data seen from the daily test scores. The data processing technique used is the validity test, reliability test and hypothesis testing t test. The results of this study indicate that tcount > from ttable (4.116 > 2.024 ) meaning that, according to the table of results of the T test (partial) it shows that the significance value of the relationship between teacher skills in class management (X) and student learning outcomes (Y) is 0.264>0, 05 and tcount 4.166 > 2.024. So H〗_0 is accepted and H〗_a is rejected, meaning that there is a significant relationship between teacher skills in managing the classroom and student learning outcomes.
