Abstract
The research aims to determine interest in learning multiplication material in Mathematics lessons for class IV students who are assumed to use animation learning media better than without using animation media at SD Negeri 173678 Janji Matogu. This research used two groups, namely a control class of 20 people and an experimental class of 20 people. This research variable consists of the independent variable, namely animation media, while the dependent variable is interest in learning multiplication material in mathematics lessons. This type of research is quantitative research with a quasi-experimental approach. Data collection techniques use observation, questionnaires and documentation. The analysis technique used is the t test, to test the hypothesis which previously carried out analysis prerequisite tests with the normality test and homogeneity test. Based on the output results of the "Independent Sample t-test". Viewed using the Equal Variances Test assumed the results show that the sig. (2-tailed) has a value of 0.000 (Sig < 0.05)” then h0 is rejected and ha is accepted. So it can be stated that there is a significant influence between the use of animation media on the learning outcomes of multiplication material in mathematics lessons for Class IV students at SD Negeri 173678 Janji Matogu.
