Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine how students at the DIII Environmental Health Polytechnic in
Kabanjahe Karo Regency employ English Coversation in their English learning. The research method is
descriptive qualitative. According to the findings of field surveys and observations made by 35 students,
84% agreed that using English Conversation in the classroom had a beneficial impact on students'
capacity to enhance self-confidence, 85% agreed to add new vocabulary, and 84% agreed to improve
listening abilities. 85% agree that utilizing English conversation improves their ability to articulate
thoughts or notions. Therefore, it can be concluded that using English conversation in teaching English
courses has quite a positive impact in developing students' abilities, especially in the Kabanjahe
Environmental Health DIII Program
